Operation Homefront is accepting nominations for its 2027 Military Child of the Year Awards, which recognize outstanding military children for their resilience, character and ability to thrive despite the challenges of military life.
Military teens ages 13 to 18 may be nominated by a parent, teacher, mentor or guardian. Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 1, 2026.
Award recipients will receive a $10,000 cash award and a laptop. Each winner also will travel with a parent or guardian to Washington, D.C., for a three-night stay and the awards gala in April 2027, during the Month of the Military Child.
