Densing promoted to captain

New U.S. Navy Capt. Matthew Densing, left, recites the promotion oath administered by Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Program Manager (PMA-234), Capt. Michael Orr in front of the “On Watch” monument, located in Dowell, Md., Sept. 11. The monument commemorates the first U.S. Naval amphibious training base used during World War II. Previously, he established the Navy’s first Unmanned Aircraft Systems test squadron, Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (UX) 24, at Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigoes, Md., and was selected as its first commanding officer.
