ONBOARD PAX RIVER:
Mandatory Temperature Screenings at NAVAIR Facilities
NAVAIR is utilizing temperature checks for its workforce using no-contact temperature screening devices. If you work on-site, you should expect to have your temperature checked before being granted access to NAVAIR facilities. If you present a temperature equal to or in excess of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit and/or refuse to have your temperature taken, you will be denied entry. See the attached graphic for instructions on how to check your temperature on-site. Please self-screen at home before coming to work by taking your temperature and monitoring for any COVID-19 symptoms.
COVID Asymptomatic Testing
NAVAIR is offering voluntary, no-cost, asymptomatic COVID-19 surveillance testing at mobile sites to all on-site military members, civilians and contractors with a CAC ID. Testing is done and reported in groups of four. If anyone in the group tests positive, a negative PCR type COVID-19 test is required to return to work. Asymptomatic testing is NOT intended to diagnose those with COVID-19 symptoms. If you are ill or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, please stay home and contact your supervisor and health care provider. View the testing schedule at https://myteam.navair.navy.mil/corpapps/NAVAIRComm/NIT/atest/Lists/Van%20Schedule/calendar.aspx
