The WMAI Veteran's Open Studio is a weekly opportunity for veterans (active duty, retired, reservist, guardsmen) to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in a safe, creative atmosphere of cultural exchange, conversation, encouragement, and freedom of expression through various art materials and processes. No previous art experience is necessary. Service dogs are welcome. The art instructor provides direction, guidance and encouragement at a pace most comfortable for veterans new to visual art as well as seasoned art makers.

Veteran's Open Studio occurs every Saturday from 12-3PM in Warrior Way Art Studio, Building W16 (1st Floor). Every Second Saturday is Family Open Studio Day, the designated day each month where veterans and their families create art as a family.

**AS PER VETERAN REQUEST: To be sensitive and mindful of veterans’ needs, please remember the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Saturdays are for Veterans attendees only.**
