The 26th annual Holiday Cheer for Children Campaign is held through Saturday. Members of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard will stand outside the base exchange and shoppette here to collect donations today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. Additional location sites at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., include the base exchange, shoppette and furniture⁄toy store, during the same dates and times.

Christmas Cantata

This year’s Christmas Cantata is ‘‘Emmanuel — Celebrating Heaven’s Child.” Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. at chapel two. The cantata is Dec. 24. For more information, call Gee Soo Hall at (301) 839-5304.

Healthy eating challenge

The health and wellness center sponsors a healthy eating challenge through Jan. 2, 2007, to promote healthy eating habits for the holiday season.
