The Naval Support Activity Housing Referral Office will host a free Home Buying Seminar on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NSAW Housing Welcome Center, Conference Room, Bldg. 414, Anacostia Annex. The seminar is given and presented by the ERA Blue Diamond Reality at Anacostia. All new and repeat home buyers are encouraged to attend. Attendees will hear from industry experts on the home buying process from the application to the closing. The seminar covers such topics as “Buying versus Renting -pros & cons, “Knowing when to buy, where to look, what finance options are available, how much home can one afford, The role of the Realtor“. Lunchtime cruise
Tickets are now on sale for the Friday, Dec. 4 lunchtime cruise aboard the Odyssey. Boarding begins at 10:45 a.m. from the Gangplank Marina at 6th and Water Streets with a departure time scheduled for 11:30 a.m. with a return time at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30 per person and include a cruise along the Potomac, live entertainment and menu-style dining. Tickets are available at the following locations:

‘Dreamgirls’ at the Apollo Theater
Tickets are now available for a Saturday, Dec. 5 trip to the Apollo Theater in New York, N.Y. to watch the play ‘‘Dreamgirls.” The price per person is $150 with a two ticket limit per person.
Bus will depart from Washington Navy Yard (WNY) Bldg. 166 parking lot at 8:15 a.m. and will return at approximately 11 p.m. and all CMWR command employees are eligible to attend.
Tickets may be purchased at the WNY ITT in Bldg. 22 or the Anacostia Annex ITT in Bldg. 419.

When you log into MyBiz for the first time you will be prompted to provide a user ID and a password. MyBiz allows employees access to view information from their official personnel records including appointment, position, personal, salary, benefits, awards and bonuses, and performance.
