During November, the Pro Shop staff at the Medal of Honor Golf Course will begin registering patrons for PIN numbers that will allow them to make tee times through anautomated phone system. The system will be in effect January 2010.
A PIN number is required for all patrons who wish to use the automated phonesystem. There is no charge to golfers;however, proper identification is required. Once registered patrons can call the Tee Time phone number, 703-432-8536, to maketheir reservations.
Patrons must be familiar with their categories in order to make tee times.
Category 1 – Active duty and their family members assigned to commands at Quantico and all active duty Marines and their family members in the national capital area.
Category 2 – Active duty service members and their families from other commands and retired military and their families who hold an advanced green fee pass.
Category 3 – All other eligible patrons,retired military, DOD, FBI and DEA at Quantico, and honorably discharged veterans
The schedule below details the dayand time you can call, in accordance with your category.
The automated phone system has eight phone lines, which will help reduce repeated calling and avoid receiving a busy signal. There will also be 24-hour access for registered personnel.
If you experience difficulty, please contact the Pro Shop. Out-of-town eligible patrons may contact the Pro Shop for available tee times. General public players may call the Pro Shop two days in advance of playon weekdays and the day of play onweekends (weekend play is based on space availability).
If you are calling for a weekend or holiday tee time, you will only be able to make one tee time reservation. If you want to make tee times for more than one foursome on weekdays only, you should call or visit the Pro Shop. When scheduling a tee time, you will be allowed to make it for two, three orfour people.
The automated tee time system is only a phone-in system at this time.
Cancellations before the day of play should be made by calling the tee time phone line at 703-432-8536. On the day of play, cancellations must be made by calling the Pro Shop at 703-784-2424.
