About the movies
Couples Retreat: Jason and Cynthia are close togetting a divorce. In an effort to save their marriage they book a vacation to a couples therapy retreat called Eden.
Fame: Based upon the 1980 film which follows NYC talent attending the New York City High School for the Performing Arts, students get specialized training that often leads to success as actors and singers.
The Invention of Lying: Mark Bellison lives in a world just like our own, except everyone is completely honest all the time. Mark’s sad life of honest criticisms drives him to make up stories.
The Stepfather: Michael returns home from military school to find his mother in love with a man known as David Harris. He seems like the perfect father and husband to everyone—except Michael, who suspects that he isn’t quite the man he seems to be.
Surrogates: People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates—physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It’s an ideal world until a murder jolts the utopia, unveiling a conspiracy.
Whip It: Bliss Cavendar has grown unhappy with the small-town Texas life of Friday night football and beauty pageant competitions. She discovers Roller Derby after scheming to attend and try out as Babe Ruthless, her alter-ego roller derby character.
Zombieland: A horror-comedy that focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. As they join forces they determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.
