Internal Climate survey begins at NNMC
The FY 2010 Annual Plan is now available. This year’s Annual Plan focuses on the same four strategic goals as last year with new and updated objectives. The four strategic goals are quality, readiness, access and Integration. A summary of the Annual Plan can be found on page 3 of the Journal and will also be posted online via NNMC’s Intranet by Nov. 19.
News & Notes NNMC temporary fitness center opens
The temporary fitness center opened its doors this week. Its hours of operation are as follows: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The temporary center is located in Building 147 near the Armed Service Blood Bank Center. To get there, staff can take the Green Line shuttle from Building 10.
Retired Activities relocates
The Retired Activities Office (RAO) has moved from Building 8 to Building 11, room 142, in the Fleet and Family Support Office (FFSO) complex. For more information, contact the RAO at 301-295-4120.
Dental school seeks denture patients
The Naval Postgraduate Dental School Prosthodontic Residency Program and the Comprehensive Dentistry Program at NNMC are seeking eligible beneficiaries in need of new complete dentures. The denture patients will be treated by specialty residents under the direction of a board certified teaching staff. For more information, call 301-295-1550.
