11th CES Tech. Sgt. Cesar Valadez confers with Ninette Dean, a customer service representative at the Lodging Desk.
The next nonappropriated funds (NAF) sale is scheduled for Nov. 6.
Debra Raspberry, the assistant manager for lodging on Bolling AFB, said that this NAF sale will be for the room apartment contents in temporary lodging building 3618.
Raspberry said the building has 50 apartments.
Each apartment contains a sofa, a sleeper chair, a television with a stand, a dining-room table with four chairs, a queen -size bed, a bedside lamp, and wall pictures.
The entire room contents will be sold for $150.
As with the previous sale, this NAF event starts at 9 a.m.
It is only open first to military personnel holding the ranks of E1 to E5.
Raspberry said this was so ‘‘we take care of Airmen first. We want to serve those who serve our country.”
At 10 a.m., if there are still room sets available to sell, the bidding opens to all military ranks and DoD personnel.
The items usually go quickly at these NAF sales. Raspberry predicted that ‘‘all the room contents will probably be sold by noon.”
There will be a cashier on site to accept cash, checks or credit cards.
Raspberry reminds purchasers that they are responsible for picking up the items by 6 p.m. Nov. 7.
