Show off your talents in the Columbus Day Drawing Contest. Stop by the library anytime between Sept. 1 and Oct. 4 to pick up your supplies for this contest. Ages 3-6 will get a coloring sheet. Ages 7-13 will get paper on which to draw their picture. All masterpieces will be showcased at the Dahlgren Library and will be judged on October 11. River Range Poker Tournament

You need to know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em. The River Range Lounge will be hosting a poker tournament on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. Stop by for a fun evening and try out your card strategies. Families are invited to attend our annual Pumpkin Patch Event on the Parade Field Pavilion. Each child can pick out their favorite pumpkin and decorate it, too! The CDC provides full-time childcare for families stationed at NSF Dahlgren. Weekly fees are based on family income. Ages 6 weeks to 5 years. To be placed on the enrollment list for the Child Development Homes go to http:⁄⁄www.mwr.navy.mil⁄ and click the Child and Youth Programs. NSF Dahlgren is part of Naval District Washington.
