Eligible staff members may sign up for parking in the South Lot at 5929 Georgia Ave., or Rumbaugh Garage by completing an application form and dropping it off in the parking in-take center between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Until capacity is reached, any Walter Reed staff member may receive parking privileges in the South Lot, which is about a mile south of Walter Reed’s main campus near Peabody St., and the Ward 4 D.C. police station. The lot is expected to accommodate about 350 vehicles.

A shuttle runs from the South Lot to Walter Reed’s main campus every 15 minutes from 6 to 9 a.m., and from 3 to 8 p.m.

Once the South Lot reaches capacity, priority will go first to staff members who provide direct patient care. (Stripe)
