Golf with Us
Semper Fit’s ‘‘Golf with Us” program goes to Meadows Farms in Locust Grove, Va., on July 24, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The fee is $50 for DoD civilians; active duty pay $25. College 101⁄Summer 2009
The Army Education Center exists to provide Soldiers with the resources and tools necessary not only to be a prepared Soldier but an educated Soldier. College 101 (the Education Center’s up and coming NEW program) will introduce Soldiers to the basics of entering college: applying, understanding semester hours, quarter hours, GPA, accreditation, Diploma Mills and more. Second, most important part of College 101 assists Soldiers with becoming more familiar with the GoArmyEd (its functions and processes).
TA money is accessed via GoArmyEd.
Spouses are also encouraged to attend.

RAD Systems Training

Continuing Education for Senior Leaders Program Class
The deadline is quickly approaching for the Army Management Staff College Continuing Education for Senior Leaders class offered Aug. 3-7 at Fort Belvoir. CESL is a four-and-a-half day resident and 40 hour distributed learning course that brings senior civilian leaders together to discuss current and relevant issues facing the Army. CESL is designed for the GS-14 and 15 leader level with 25 percent of our seats allocated to senior Army uniformed staff.
The content of CESL, in part, encompasses interactive discussions and presentations to include a Joint Commander’s Panel dialogue. Topics include: Civilian Talent Management, Army Senior Fellows Program, Enterprise Human Capital Lifecycle Management, Strategic Thinking, Knowledge Management, China’s Culture and Geo-political Impact on the West, Understanding Islam⁄Middle Eastern Culture, U.S. Africa Command, a robust workshop on media and Public Affairs relations, as well as several other topics, presentations and seminars.
