Dahlgren Dog Walk

The second Annual NSF Dahlgren Dog Walk and Show will be held Saturday, June 2, at 9:30 a.m. on the Parade Field. Festivities will include a dog walk, dog show, prizes, food, canine instruction and children’s activities. To register for the event, contact (540) 653-2013.

NSF Dahlgren Food Bank Needs Your Help!

Did you know that NSF Dahlgren has a food bank? In order to serve our military families in need, the food bank needs your donations. We are looking for diapers (all sizes), Pull Ups (all sizes), cereal, canned fruit, canned veggies, canned spaghetti sauce, pastas, gravy, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, pasta salads (boxed), canned pasta, cookies, snacks and commissary gift certificates in $25 increments only. While you are out shopping for your family, could you pick up a few items for the food bank? You can drop off your food items at the following on base at the ITT office, Bldg #144. July 4th Food Booths Available Now!

Don’t miss your chance for your non-profit organization to secure a food booth for this year’s 4th of July Celebration at Dahlgren. Booths are available for $50 each, first come, first served. For more info, contact (540) 653-2013.

Volunteers Needed!

What would Dahlgren’s 4th of July Celebration be without the kids’ games tent, and what will we do without volunteers?? You can help! Volunteer now to help out with the kids’ games tent! Energetic Toastmasters

The Indian Head ‘‘Energetic” Toastmasters Club 3173, a member of Toastmasters International, meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. at the Chapel⁄Auditorium. Visitors are always welcome. Meetings last an hour and guests may bring their lunches. For more information, contact Mike Ellis at (301) 744-4291.

Chapel Services

The Base Chapel will hold non-denominational worship services on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. until noon. Services, conducted by CBIRF Chaplain K.C. James, are open to all. Hope to see you there!
