Asian Pacific Heritage Month

The Navy Medical Logistics Command will host their ninth annual Asian Pacific Heritage Month Luncheon May 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Odom Fitness Center.

This year’s festivities include Asian-Pacific entertainment, a guest speaker and a traditional roast pig served with Asian cuisine.

Tickets are on sale. Pick them up from the Unit EO representatives for $5.

Advance ticket holders will be fed first. Unsold tickets will be available for purchase starting at 12:30 at the event.

Barbershop closure

The barbershop in the PX will be closed for Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26.

Pharmacy closure

The pharmacy will be closed May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. The pharmacy will resume normal business hours May 27.

Professional Development

‘‘Fighting for Life” is a documentary featuring real stories of military doctors and nurses fighting on the frontlines in the battle for life.

This documentary will be shown at Strough auditorium May 29 and May 30 at 1:30 each day as a Professional Development for officers, NCOs and civilians.

Seating is limited. First come, first serve basis.

21st Signal Brigade ball

The Officers, Soldiers and Civilians of the 114th Signal Battalion request the honor of your presence at the Change of Command Ceremony transferring command from Lt. Col. Michael P. Hynes to Lt. Col. Kelly T. Knitter June 12 at 10 a.m. at Fort Ritchie, Md. Parade Field. R.S.V.P. by June 2.
