AEGIS Spring Craft Fair
Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? AEGIS Training & Readiness Center will hold a spring craft fair on Friday, May 9 at Hangar 2 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This craft fair will be open to the public and will feature many local crafters. Dahlgren Commissary Holds Caselot Sale
Get ready to stock up for the summer! The Dahlgren Commissary will hold its spring caselot sale on May 15-17 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. All qualified commissary patrons are encouraged to stock up and save!

Asian Pacific Islander Observance
An observance for Asian Pacific Islander Month will be held May 20 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Aegis Auditorium. Guest speaker will be Kenneth Shu, Regional Director and Administrative Judge, Equal Opportunity Commission. All are invited to attend!

Weight Watchers At Work

DAHLGREN ANDINDIAN HEAD

Graduation Pictures Wanted!
High school and college graduates who are dependents of military personnel and civilian employees at Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head, NSF Dahlgren and NSF Andrews Air Force Base will be featured in an upcoming special edition of the South Potomac Pilot. If you have a child that is graduating from high school, trade school or college, you are invited to submit a photo of your grad!

In addition, military and civilian personnel graduating from an academic institution in 2008 are also invited to submit photos, along with graduate's name, name of the school from which they graduated and the degree earned.

Photos can be submitted electronically or hard copy photos can be delivered to sites at Dahlgren and Indian Head. Digital images should be at a resolution of at least 300 dpi and no smaller than 2-by-3 inches, and should be e-mailed as stand-alone attachments (not embedded in a Word or PowerPoint document). All submissions must include the graduate's name, school, prospective college if applicable, and type of degree if applicable. Please also include your name, command and organizational code, a contact phone number, and your relationship to the graduate. All photos that are not submitted electronically need to be picked up no later than June 29.

Photos can be submitted electronically to jeron.hayes@navy.mil, or hard copy photos can be dropped off at NSF Dahlgren in the Public Affairs Office, Bldg. 101, Room 109, or at NSF Indian Head, Bldg. 1601⁄downstairs with Gerri Hall.

Bike to Work Day

A representative of the Navy College Office will be in the MWR gym office on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Questions about your Tricare health benefits? Visit Andrea Frye at the IH Branch Medical Clinic who can help Tricare beneficiaries with enrollment, claims, referral and authorization questions. Energetic Toastmasters
The Indian Head “Energetic“ Toastmasters Club 3173, a member of Toastmasters International, meets the first and third Wednesday of every month at 11:30. Visitors are always welcome.
