The ceremony is open to all NAVAIR employees by video teleconference, from the atrium of the Rear Adm. William A. Moffett building, and broadcast to all main NAVAIR sites.

The awards recognize NAVAIR’s top technical, business and leadership excellence in support of the command’s strategic priorities: current readiness, future capabilities and people.

Nominations were judged by subject matter experts based on new criteria which emphasized each team’s specific duties and responsibilities as well as alignment with NAVAIR goals, objectives and strategic priorities as described in the Commander’s Guidance.

Awards were selected in five categories: Business Operations, Program Management, RDT&E and S&T, Logistics and Industrial Operations, and Quality of Service⁄Customer Service.

All NAVAIR teams composed of civilians, military and contractor employees were eligible. Names of the winning teams stand on permanent display in the atrium of the Moffett building.
