Save money: Have medications delivered to your home

E-Mail This Article Print This Story
Military members and dependents that have maintenance prescriptions filled at a TRICARE retail network pharmacy may convert those prescriptions to home delivery via the TRICARE mail order pharmacy to save time and money. Maintenance prescriptions are those taken on a regular basis.

Converting to home delivery may be done online or via telephone either way is simple, safe and efficient:

To convert to a home-delivery prescription online, go to the following Web site: www. express-scripts.com⁄TRICARE

Complete the conversion form.

A pop-up will indicate the maintenance drugs you are currently taking.

Select the medications you wish to convert to mail order.

The process takes about four minutes. Express Scripts will contact your doctors for new prescriptions, and your first shipment will arrive in approximately 14 days from the time your prescription is received. (Note: The online process is secure and your personal information is safely guarded.)

You may also call the Member Choice Center toll-free at 1-877-363-1433 to convert your prescription via telephone.

A trained MCC patient care advocate will walk you through the process, pull up records, verify information, enroll you and convert your medication(s) to home delivery.

Converting your prescriptions over the phone takes about seven minutes. Express Scripts will contact your doctors for new prescriptions, and your first shipment will arrive in approximately 14 days.
