Group Exercise Classes at the WNY

From now to March 31, the Navy Yard Fitness Center will be holding Group Exercise Classes to include Step⁄Sculpt, Spinning Boot Camp, Boot Camp, Total Body Conditioning, Spinning, Yoga, Pilates, Power Pilates, Zumba, and Performance Fitness Training. Classes are held Monday-Friday and are free for all military personnel. Prices vary per class for DoD civilians and contractors. Free Home Buying Seminar

The NSAW Housing Referral Office will be hosting a free Home Buying Seminar on Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Housing Welcome Center, Conference Room, Bldg. 414, Anacostia Annex. All new and repeat home buyers are encouraged to attend. Attendees will hear from industry experts the home buying process from the application to the closing. The seminar covers such topics as “Buying versus Renting -pros & cons,“ “Knowing when to buy, where to look, what finance options are available, how much home can one afford,“ and “The Role of the Realtor.“ All participants are encouraged to bring a guest. Free Foreclosure Crisis Seminar

The NSAW Housing Referral Office will be hosting a free Foreclosure Crisis Seminar on Feb. 24 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Housing Welcome Center, Conference Room, Bldg. 414, Anacostia Annex. Annual MWR Chili Cook-Off

Hot Chili, Deer Chili, Sweet Chili, Beer Chili. Join us on Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Anacostia Annex Fitness Center for an afternoon of free chili tasting from chefs all over the region. Child Development Center Hourly Care

First Come, First Serve! Hourly Care is open to children aged five years or younger. Reservations must be made 30 days in advance, and no more than 25 hours per week are permitted for Hourly Care. All military and DoD civilian families are welcome. Contact the Anacostia CDC at (202) 433-0771 for pricing and more information.
