On Feb. 9, the Child Development Home Program at Annapolis will host an Open House - Job Fair for anyone interested in seeking self-employment as a CDH provider. The event will be held at the Billy the Kid Youth Center, 126 Alder Road, NSA Annapolis from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to learn about CDH program incentives, retention benefits and orientation requirements. Learn how you can own your own business and work from home, even from off-base. Coffee, tea and light breakfast fare will be served. Transition Assistance Program
The Transition Assistance Program is a four-day career and job search workshop for separating and retiring service members seeking civilian employment held Feb. 12 - 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Topics include: skills assessment, resume writing, as well as a review of Veteran entitlement and much more. Register now if you are within one year of separation or two years of retirement. You must see your Command Career Counselor and obtain a signed DD 2648 prior to coming to TAP.
