Tax Center Officially Opens Monday to Assist Tax Payers with Returns<P>
The National Naval Medical Center’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center will open Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Bldg. 8 on the 4th floor to provide staff members tax filing assistance. Staff members wishing to file their returns through the tax center need to make an appointment. Appointments will begin today in Bldg. 1 on the 6th floor. Call (301) 295-2296 for more information.
Civilian Employee Assistance Program Class Aims to Reduce Stress
The National Naval Medical Center’s Civilian Employee Assistance Program will conduct a stress management class Tuesday in Bldg. 4 in Room 3209A from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Participants will learn to identify and manage stress at home and work. For more information or to register call (202) 685-9629.
Submission Deadline for Educational Research Competition Approaching

Liberty Zone Offering Free Food, Prizes for Sunday’s Super Bowl Party
The National Naval Medical Center’s Liberty Zone will host a Super Bowl XLII party one hour before kickoff in Bldg. 61. The Liberty Zone will show the game on its big screen. Names will be drawn during halftime for prizes.
