Marine Mart
The Marine Mart on Mainside, in Building 3048 off Barnett Avenue, offers quick-stop shopping and carries items typically found in commercial convenience stores: bread, milk, health and comfort items, as well as soda, beer and wine. Some military items, and breakfast and lunch selections are also available. The Subway sandwich shop is also located in the Marine Mart. Save time, call in your order in advance, (703) 640-6142. For yourconvenience, directly across from the Marine Mart, MCCS offers a self-service car wash facility.

Marine Corps Exchange Mall
The Marine Corps Exchange Mall, Building 3500, Russell Road, near the back gate of Quantico, is co-located with the Commissary, making it accessible for convenient one-stop shopping.

Main Exchange
The Quantico Main Exchange, Building 3500, Russell Road, near the back gate of Quantico is co-located with the Comminsary, making it accessible for convenient one-stop shopping. It is the second largest Marine Corps Exchange under one roof. It offers a wide range of merchandise, including clothing, toys, housewares, furniture, electronics, sporting goods and ‘value-priced’ items⁄brands. Through its Price Match Guarantee, the exchange will match current advertised prices from any local competitor. (Some restrictions apply, see store for details.)

In addition, many services have been added forcustomer convenience: specialty kiosks; GNC; furniture delivery; Teleflora fresh flower arrangements; professional travel services; an MCCS Information, Ticket & Travel office; car rental; cellular phone service; watch andjewelry repair; and key cutting.

Money orders and Western Union services are also available at the Customer Services desk. The checkout registers at the Main Exchange and its branches will cash $25 over the amount of purchases when paying by check. When using an ATM Debit card for your purchases you canreceive up to $50.00 cash back. Commissary
The Quantico Commissary is located beside the Marine Corps Exchange to facilitate one-stop shopping. It provides a wide selection of meat and produce and a complete line of grocery and household items. For additional savings, look for the “Best Value Item“ signs throughout the store. The commissary opens at 8 a.m. for early-bird shopping of 20 items or less. Monday through Friday. A self-checkout area has also been installed. Gas Station
Gas Station⁄Automatic carwash⁄Package Store is located next to McDonald’s in Building 3500B, Russell Road. This activity sells breakfast and lunch foods, convenience items, auto accessories, beer, wine and spirits, keg beer orders, caroet cleaners⁄supplies, and gasoline (24 hour accessible with credit). You must be 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. It also features an automatic brushless car wash (with special discounts when you purchase gas) and a coin-operated car-vac. Car Rental
Enterprise Car Rental operates a desk in the Main Exchange Mall, where there are no long lines or reservation hassles. Remember to tell them you are a Quantico Exchange customer. For more information, call (703) 432-8883.

Carwash
The mainside self-serve carwash, Building 3056, located near the Marine Mart off Barnett Avenue, is a state-of-the-art facility that offers coin-operated car-vacs, five car wash bays, carpet shampoo, an RV bay and a detailing area. Auto Hobby Skills Center
Located in Building 2080 behind Pruitt Hall Barracks, the Auto Skills Center provides assistance with repair,maintenance and instruction on automotive needs for Marines and their families. The shop offers the assistance of a certified mechanic and the equipment needed to repair and rebuild a personal vehicle, classes in preventivemaintenance and repairs, and has a resale area stocked with oil, filters and vehicle fluids. Barber Shops
The Main Exchange Barber Shop provides a full range of grooming services 7 days a week. Quantico’s skilledbarbers are well-known for their expert and courteousservice. There are five other shops located throughout the base: Mainside, Building 3035, off Barnett Avenue; Lejeune Hall, Building 3250, Catlin Avenue; OCS, Building 2189, in the john Marsh Building, Building 3280, Russell Road; and at TBS and the Weapons Training Battalion. Dry Cleaning and Tailoring

MCX Personal Services Department
MCX Personal Services, located at the rear of the Main Exchange, offers a number of services fromcustom-ordered wedding invitations and business cards to gift-wrapping, special orders for out-of-stock items, merchandise layaways and Federal Express delivery services.

Cash Sales
Clothing Sales and Issue, Building 2011, is open Monday through Friday. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information call, (703) 784-4333.

Quantico Thrift Shop
The Quantico Thrift Shop, located in Building 3074 on South Street, near the Marine Corps University, is the place for military families to purchase clothing, small household items, toys and books at nominal prices. Uniforms are also available at a fraction of their original cost, and sold “as is“ or in serviceable condition. Only uniform items may beconsigned and are accepted by appointment only.

The Quantico Thift Shop relies on volunteers to help with daily operations and is open Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information or to make a donation, call (703) 640-7430.

Optical Shop
The optical shop, located within the Main Exchange,prepares lenses and contacts from prescriptions and offers cleaning and minor repairs. Select from a wide selection of frames for children and adults, and sport and safety glasses as well. A full-time optician is available to assist with any prescription needs. MCX Customer Service
MCZ Customer Service, located at the Main Exchange, offers services such as special orders for out-of-stock items, home layaways for items over $500 and Federal Express delivery services.

TBS Uniform Shop
The Basic School Uniform Shop, Building 24005, carries officer and accessories and provides medal mounting, engraving and tailoring services for uniforms only. The TBS shop carries some enlisted accessory items and offers worldwide uniform mail order service.

PERSONAL AND FAMILY SERVICES

American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is a private, non-profitorganization whose mission is to help people prevent,prepare for and respond to emergencies.

When military members and their families experience emergencies such as death or illness of a loved one or the birth of a child, the American Red Cross is here to provide emergency communications, access to financialassistance, and other services 24 hours a day. The Red Cross office aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico is located on Barnett Avenue in Little Hall on the second deck; office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (703) 784-3113.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private, non-profit emergency relief organization supported solely by donations from Navy and Marine Corps personnel. Its purpose is to provide temporary assistance to active duty and retired Marines and sailors and their eligible familymembers in the form of interest-free loans and grants. Assistance can include funds for basic living expenses, car repairs, emergency travel, pay problems, medical anddental co-pay, funeral expenses, and other needs.

The society also offers financial counseling and can suggest ways to reduce debt. Other services include budget for baby classes, layettes for newborns, visiting nurse services, and education loans and scholarships. The society relies on dedicated, trained volunteers from thecommunity. Volunteers gain job skills and work in a friendly, rewarding environment. Volunteer mileage and childcare are paid. Services are offered on an appointment basis Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Legal Assistance
Licensed attorneys certified by the Judge Advocate General of the Navy as legal assistance attorneys furnish advice in certain areas of civilian law. Consumer-related issues, family law, support, notary services, powers of attorney, tax, wills and real estate are services provided to active duty, retired service members and their familymembers and activated reservists.

The Quantico Legal Assistance Office is located at 3095 Roan St. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Wednesday to 7 p.m., and walk-in hours are 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Will executions are done Thursdays at 1 p.m. The Quantico Income Tax Center, located in Building 3095, is open from the end of January to April 15. Income tax preparation and electronic filing is available free of charge to all armed forces identification card holders. Human Resources and Organizational Management
The Human Resources and Organizational Management branch office at Quantico is a Headquarters Marine Corps satellite personnel office. Located at 2004 Barnett Avenue, this organization is responsible for managing the civilservice, excepted service personnel, and Equal Employment Opportunity programs for commands and agencies.

The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday to provide information and assistance toindividuals and employees aboard the base. Job opportunity information and vacancy announcements are available at www.usajobs.gov. For additional information, call (703) 784-2049.

NAF Personnel Section
A wide variety of regular, full-time, part-time, flexible and seasonal Non-Appropriated Fund job opportunities areavailable for both civilian and military personnel through MCCS Human Resources. Opportunities exist in retail sales, food service, recreation, child development andadministration. MCCS Financial Services
The MCCS Finance Section, located on the second floor of Little Hall, Building 2034, Barnett Avenue, is a support office for all MCCS activities. Inquiries concerning member accounts with Retail, Food & Hospitality, Recreation, Family Services, Uniform Deferred Payment Program and Command Dishonored Personal Check List can be made at (703) 784-3483, Monday through Friday during the business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Banking
Bank of America has a branch office located in the Marine Corps Exchange Mall. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A 24-hour banking machine is located outside the mall. Call (703) 630-1775 for more information.

Marine Federal Credit Union operates three full-service branches and more than 13 ATMs in the Quantico area. MFCU’s main office, complete with drive-up ATM and safe deposit boxes, is located on Russell Road near the Exchange Service Station and Package Store. The Basic School Branch is located on the ground floor of O’Bannon Hall, call (703) 640-7505.

Personal Readiness and CommunitySupport Center
The Personal Readiness and Community Support Center, located on the basement level in Little Hall, Building 2034, provides a variety of resources and services which support and enhance the quality of life for all active duty service members and families, retirees and their family members, and DoD and NAF civilian employees as appropriate. Services and programs offered are Informatin and Referral, Relocation Assistance, Personal Financial Management counseling, Transition Assistance, Family Member Employment Assistance, Exceptional Family Member Program, New Parent Support Program, and Retired Activites.

Information and Referral
The Information and Referral program links active duty, retired personnel and their families to a variety of services and programs provided by both military and civilian resources. A toll-free number is available for personnel on independent duty assignments, those families not living near a Marine Corps Base, and those in-transit in the Eastern United States. Relocation Assistance Program
The Relocation Assistance Program provides basenewcomers and personnel departing for new duty stations with base “Welcome Aboard“ briefs, relocation workshops, andextensive information on most duty stations worldwide. Sponsorship training and coordination is provided. Household items such as dishes, cookware, futons, porta-cribs, high chairs, and car seats are available for short-term loan from the Loan Locker. Financial Management
The Personal Readiness and Community Support Center has a full-time financial management specialist available to provide information and assistance to those in need of financial counseling or debt management. The financial management counselor is also available to commands and other on-base groups for training in such topics as financial management, budgeting, buying a car⁄house and checkbook maintenance. Career Resource Management Center
The Career Resource Management Center manages the Transition Assistance Program which assists retiring orseparating military personnel and their family members in their search for employment. Job search training, personalimprovement workshops and individual counseling areprovided. The center has an automated national job bank and takes part in local and regional job fairs.

Additionally, the center features the Family Member Employment Assistance Program to help family members who are new to the area search for jobs. For more information, call (703) 784-2511⁄4963.

Exceptional Family Member Program
The Exceptional Family Member Program is a mandatory enrollment for active duty personnel who have authorized family members with diagnosed medical and⁄or edicational conditions. The primary goal is to ensure that the medical⁄educational needs of the family member can be accommodated as the service members PCS’s from duty station. The program also provides a number of support services to include educational⁄information forums on various topics specific to persons with disabilities, a group, volunteer network, loaning of wheelchairs and serves as an advocate to families. New Parent Support Program
The New Parent Support Program is a team of licensed nurses and social workers who provide educational, and support services, Marine Corps families who are expecting or have a child up to the age of 6. NPSP teaches parents how to cope with stress, isolation and the everyday demands of parenthood. Parenting classes, discilineclasses, Moms’ Support Group, Play Mornings, and Baby Boot Camp are just some of the class offerings by NPSP. Retired Activities Office
The Retired Activities Office provides assistance to retired persons of all U.S. Armed Forces, their spouses and families, widows and widowers, in obtaining thebenefits and entitlements earned by serving our nation. For more information, call (703) 784-3351.

Family Advocacy Program
The Family Advocacy Program provides prevention,crisis intervention, and treatment services directed toward family violence and child abuse. The FAP focuses oninterventions that prevent family violence and child abuse addressing the risk factors, underlying causes, and effects of family violence on bith adult and child victims. When abuse does occur, family advocacy concentrates on the safety of the victims, rehabilitative services for theoffenders and consultation with the commands. Services provided on an ongoing basis include stress and anger management, relationship and communication workshops, conflict management, 24-hour victim advocacy, individual counseling, domestic violence support groups and support groups for victims of abuse.

The FAP also offers marriage and family counseling services for individuals and couples, providing short-term counseling and other forms of intervention for coping with life’s daily stressors. In addition to counseling, FAP also offers information and referrals to other military andcivilian resources and services. All services are kept confidential. Consolidated Substance AbuseCounseling Center
The Consolidated Substance Abuse Counseling Center provides assessments, treatment and referrals to residential programs and⁄or community resources. The center offers information and classes on a wide variety of alcohol and other drug-related topics, to include early intervention and substance abuse control officer training. Services are available to active duty and retirees and their family members, and to civilian employees working aboard Quantico on a space-available basis.

Life Long Learning Education Center
The Life Long Learning Education Center supports alllevels of off-duty education, from obtaining a GED tograduate degrees. The center is staffed with highly qualified counselors who offer guidance and assistance in all aspects of continuing education, financial aid, military transcripts, and Veterans Administration education benefits. Thelearning center is also a testing site for SAT, ACT,CLEP, Dantes, and all of the military classification tests. Currently, there are seven colleges⁄universities with on-base representatives available during normal working hours.

Marine Corps Family Team Building
Marine Corps Family Team Building includes five distinct, yet complimentary family readiness programs, whichprovide beneficial information, enhance family readiness, and improve the quality of life for Marine Corps families. Programs that constitute MCFTB are outlined below:

Key Volunteer Network
As an official Marine Corps family readiness program, the Key Volunteer Network is a major component of MCFTB. The network is made up of volunteer spouses whose role is to support and assist the commander by providing improved communication between the command and the families of Marines and other service personnel, by developing a support network among families within the unit, and by establishing a focal point for information and referral to appropriate supporting agencies. Lifestyle, Insights, Networking,Knowledge and Skills
L.I.N.K.S. is a family readiness program designed and facilitated by Marine Corps spouses to welcome new spouses into the Marine Corps family and educate them about the Marine Corps lifestyle. The L.I.N.K.S training curriculumcovers a wide range of topics to include Marine Corpshistory, traditions and culture, benefits and services, and dealing with deployments, and provides spouses withmeaningful readiness and self-sufficiency training. Spouse’s Learning Series
The Spouse’s Learning Series is a three tiered program providing Marine Corps spouses the opportunity tofurther their personal and professional growth. Thecombination of workshops and online education development in t he following areas: Relationship Building, Personal and Professional Empowerment, goal Setting, Self-care, Stress Reduction and Life⁄Work Balance. Chaplain’s Religious Enrichment Development Operations
Commonly called CREDO, this multifaceted program offers retreats in personal and spiritual growth, marriage enrichment and team building. For more information, call (757) 444-1091.

The Combat Visual Information Center
The Combat Visual Information Center, located in Building 2009, supports commands’ visual information, training devices and audiovisual equipment needs. It has the capability to produce graphics, photographs, video productions, and interactive multi-media. The CVIC also operates “Q-TV,“ Comcast Cable channel 23, which provides around-the-clock information on community and local events, as well as military educational programming.
