Yes. Check out web sites listed under Service Links on the left-hand side of this web page.

I would like to know what companies were active during the Civil War. Can you provide me with this information?
Unfortunately, no. The information may be in the Library of Congress. All sites have an email link. If you place your question to them, they will provide the best result. An internet web search through one's browser experimenting with key words may also produce relevant links.

Where is part 2 of a two-part article?
When we receive an e-mail of this type, the information is researched as time is available. Before e-mailing, try using the key words in the search engine within this site.

Lodging: I am inquiring on behalf of My Scout Troop to ask whether Andrews AFB still allows Scout Troops to use the Barracks on the Base. I understand in the past this was so but, I would like to know if it still is allowed and if so what Channels or contacts do I use to make arrangements. We would like to stay over December 2 to 3, 2000.
A request of this type is forwarded by email to the Webmaster's contact. To assure a prompt answer, please refer to the military base(s) in which you are interested. It is also a good idea to write out your reply address: i.e., jdoe@yahoo.com.

I was hoping to get my own site listed under your link for web sites. I am in the military and I go TDY quite often. I got tired of trying to find the cheapest way to call my family and friends so I created a site to do this. The site offers discount telecommunication services for military members, veterans, friends and family members. There is no requirement to be in the military to benefit from my services. The site is growing in popularity and has helped many people obtain low cost telecommunication services.
While we understand a site of this type may be of great benefit, and that little profit is made from your site, it would be unfair to our advertisers to list a commercial site. We must maintain guidelines that the site be at least 95% informational with no predominant advertising. Sites that have pop-up advertising, especially those that obscure content, are also avoided.
