Dental Fair Today
In observance of National Children’s Dental Health Month during February, the Pediatric Dental Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and Naval Postgraduate Dental School will perform oral screenings and cavity assessments for children ages 6 months to 12 years old today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the America Building, fourth floor, Pediatric Clinic. The event will also include face painting, storytelling, games and instructions for teaching children good oral hygiene habits.
 Prostate Cancer Speaker Program Today
The WRNMMC Prostate Cancer Support Group’s Speaker Program meets at 7 p.m. today in the America Building, River Conference Room on the third floor. Dr. Rex Kiteley, chief of Radiation Oncology, WRNMMC, will discuss "The Role of Radiation Therapy in the Treatment of Prostate Cancer." 2013 Parking Distribution - Purple Placards
Distribution for PURPLE parking placards will take place at the Naval Support Activity Bethesda Pass & ID Office, Building 102, located along North Wood Road at North Gate. Hours of distribution will be 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Purple parking placards are being distributed in support of the new parking plan which will take effect, March 4. Until March 3, the current purple parking placards will remain the legal parking placard for purple tenants. On March 4 and beyond, the new purple parking placards will become the legal parking placard for purple tenants. The old purple parking placard can be recycled and does not require return to Pass & ID.
