Members of the Fort Detrick community recently attended a one-day conference in Silver Spring, Md. to hear guest speaker Peter Wright, architect of Wrightslaw. Wrightslaw is a website "parents, educators, advocates, & attorneys come to Wrightslaw for accurate, reliable information about special education law & advocacy for children with disabilities." This group of laws provides information and regulations to assist children who may have special needs to be accommodated in the school environment.
