The AFAP conference gives Soldiers, Civilians, Retirees and Family Members the opportunity to come together and ask, "Are we doing things right? How can we do things better? and What are we missing?"
Participants will spend three days prioritizing issues that have been submitted for the conference. Subject Matter Experts will be available to discuss the issues and answer questions. Participants will then provide a report to the Command and other attendees at the Closing Ceremony, detailing their discussions and suggestions for improvement.
The opening ceremony featuring Col. Allan J. Darden, US Army Garrison Fort Detrick commander, will begin at 9 a.m. in Building 1520, Classroom 5, Oct. 30. The closing ceremony will be from 9-10:30 a.m. in Building 1520, Classroom 5, Nov. 2.
If you would like to submit an issue for the conference, or would like to attend the Opening and/or Closing Ceremonies, call (301) 619-3171 or (301) 619-2197.
