Our Savior Lutheran School located in Arlington, Va. will be holding a Meet 'N Greet at the Bolling Family Housing Community Center Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Returning families, students and faculty members will be at both sessions to answer questions about the school, activities, tuition assistance, the school bus program and more. Volunteers needed for half marathon
Volunteers are needed for the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon Sept. 15 for the Expo, Packet Pick-up and Pasta Party at the JBAB Club, and on race day Sept. 16 on the grounds of the Washington Monument in D.C. U.S. Navy Memorial celebrates the U.S. Coast Guard's 222nd birthday
In celebration of the U.S. Coast Guard's 222nd birthday, the U.S. Navy Memorial will host the United States Coast Guard Dixieland Jazz Band for a special birthday performance during the 2012 Concerts on the Avenue series. The performance will be held at the United States Navy Memorial Naval Heritage Center 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, D.C. 20004 Concert Outdoor Plaza Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
