AFOWC Thrift Shop

The Air Force Officers' Wives' Club Thrift Shop is located at 13 Brookley Ave and is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Donations are accepted during business hours only. Profits from the AFOWC Thrift shop go towards college scholarships and other military charitable organizations. Meet 'N Greet

Our Savior Lutheran School located in Arlington, Va. will be holding a Meet 'N Greet at the Bolling Family Housing Community Center July 16 and Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Returning families, students and faculty members will be at both sessions to answer questions about the school, activities, tuition assistance, the school bus program and more. Toastmasters Club seeks new members

The Bolling Toastmasters Club meets every Wednesday from 12:15-1:15 p.m. at the JBAB Chapel Center. Participants can learn to hone their communication and leadership skills. Thrift Shop Reopening

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Thrift Shop has relocated to Enterprise Hall (building 72), and will reopen July 10. The store hours will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information call 202-433-3364.

Calling all Girls! JBAB Girl Scouts is currently preparing for the 2012- 2013 school year. Volunteers needed for half marathon

Volunteers are needed for the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon Sept. 15 for the Expo, Packet Pick-up and Pasta Party at the JBAB Club, and on race day Sept. 16 on the grounds of the Washington Monument in D.C. All volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt, commemorative coin, and a certificate of appreciation signed by the JBAB commander.
