Cutting a tank-shaped birthday cake is Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, chief of staff of the Army, during a celebration of the 237th Army birthday at Duffy Square in Times Square Manhattan. The event included an enlistment ceremony of 16 new Soldiers from New York and featured the participation of Soldiers from The U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own,” the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), and the U.S. Army New York Recruiting Battalion.
