Capt. Dave Gleisner, NAWCAD vice commander, receives the traditional "wetting down" after his final flight May 30. During his 30 years in the Navy, Gleisner flew 16 different types of aircraft. At a retirement luncheon the week before, he received a flag flown over the World War II memorial, which he presented to his father-in-law, a World War II B-24 ball gunner. The Marshfield, Wis., native and lifetime fan of the Green Bay Packers also received a team banner, a flag flown over Lambeau Field, the team's home stadium, and a football signed by the team.
