D.C. Special Olympics: Military Day 2012

Rear Adm. Military leaders from across the National Capital Region teamed up with athletes at the 2012 Special Olympics in D.C. to pass the baton 100 meters around the track.

Friendly competition began Military Day with a race led by leadership from all branches of the military and Department of Defense from across the National Capital Region. The U.S. Marine Corps 4x100 relay team claimed the gold followed by the U.S. Navy in 2nd, Army in 3rd, Air Force in 4th and Coast Guard at 5th.
