If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to feed every living person who is malnourished or starving. Hunger should not be a fact of life!
What would you do if you won $1 million?
Buy a castle with a moat full of sea monsters and wait for Dec. 21, 2012...just kidding. I would probably do the usual: save and invest.
Who inspires you, and why?
I don't have an individual in mind that I've looked up to as a mentor. In general, I am inspired by the tenacity and iron will of the human spirit. This is what drives people to shape history. Life is what you make of it.
What is your best military memory?
Attending my brother's change of command and having a picture of him in his Coast Guard blues and myself in my Air Force blues with our father, who is previous Air National Guard, in-between us. I am proud to be serving my country with my big brother.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy being able to talk to so many different people and hearing their stories and where they've been and what they've experienced throughout their career. I've been able to learn a lot just by listening to my patients!
What do you want people to know about you?
I am adopted from South Korea and consider my life to be very blessed. I don't believe that you can go through life without any regrets, but rather you learn and then you live.
