Elmo and his friends share song and dance with children and their parents during a performance at the Youth Center, May 19, at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The USO, JBAB Youth Center and Morale, Welfare and Recreation teams brought Sesame Street to base for two performances both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets were distributed several weeks prior to the event across base which became unavailable quickly. The storyline shared the importance of staying positive during difficult deployment and change of station seasons with military children and their families in attendance. The USO has been touring with Sesame Street across military installations since 2008.
