The National Museum of Health and Medicine celebrated its 150th anniversary and grand opening May 21. Among distinguished guests at the event were US Senator Ben Cardin and US Representative Chris Van Hollen.

The national museum features artifacts from President Abraham Lincoln's assassination including the bullet that killed him. The museum also owns millions of medical objects, including human specimens and some of the first microscopes developed.
