Stages of Healing Presents Sara Jones

Walter Reed Bethesda's Stages of Healing presents jazz vocalist Sara Jones performing today from noon to 1 p.m., in the America Building lobby. Jones is the first-place winner of the 2004 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition in Baltimore, Md. Stages of Healing performances are for the entire Walter Reed Bethesda community. Navy-wide Research Competition

Walter Reed Bethesda hosts the 27th Annual Navy-wide Research Competition tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon in Building 10's Laurel Clark Memorial Auditorium. Researchers from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth will present their work during the competition. Presentations consist of approved Clinical Investigation Program research conducted under the jurisdiction of each respective Clinical Investigation Department. For more information, contact Capt. Performance and Resilience Enhancement Workshop

A Performance and Resilience Enhancement Workshop will be held May 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to help all staff and health care providers reach their potential, as well as lower stress and compassion fatigue. The workshop, open to all military and civilians, will held in Building 5, Rm. 4028 and is part of the Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program, designed to build and strengthen confidence, goal setting, attention control, energy management and integrate imagery.
