79th Medical Wing members simulate stabilizing an injured patient before transporting her to a local community hospital during Andrews' April 26 Major Accident Response Exercise (MARE). The 11th Wing, 79th Medical Wing, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and more than 11 other local hospitals participated in the exercise which tested the response capability of all those involved. The MARE also prepared participants for all scenarios that could arise during the upcoming 2012 Joint Service Open House and Air Show. For more images from the MARE, see pages eight and nine.
