Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Commander Col. Carl R. Coffman hosted the Commander’s Cherry Blossom Community Reception April 20. The event celebrated the 100th anniversary of the gift of the cherry blossom trees to Washington D.C. (From the left) Ambassador of the Embassy of Japan His Excellency Ichiro Fujisaki, Mrs. Brenda Linnington and Commander Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region and the U.S. Military District of Washington Maj. Gen. Michael Linnington, Commander attended the reception along with many other community leaders from around the Nation Capital Region.
