Holocaust Survivor Charles Stein speaks to those in attendance during a Holocaust: Days of Remembrance ceremony at the U.S. Air Force Ceremonial Lawn, April 19, on base. Stein, originally from Vienna, Austria, shared his experience during the Holocaust and arrival to the U.S. in December1939. He was later commissioned into the U.S Army in 1943 working primarily in military intelligence until his retirement in 1978. Stein is a volunteer at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C.
