In honor of Earth Day 2012, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall’s Directorate of Environmental Management is coordinating the events listed below. DEM’s theme this year is centered around the Chesapeake Bay preservation and restoration.

April 24 – The Henderson Hall portion of JBM-HH will host an Earth Day beautification project in partnership with Barcroft Elementary School from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. ouside the Marine Corps Exchange and the Marine Club.

April 25 – Reading Day at the Cody Child Development Center from 10 – 11 a.m.

April 25 – Earth Day exhibits at JBM-HH Community Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 26 –Shredding Event – Fort McNair portion of JBM-HH, 9 – 10 a.m., Bldg. 62; Bldg. 29 , 10:10 – 11:10 a.m. Henderson Hall portion of JBM-HH, Bldg. 29, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. JBM-HH Bldg. 59, 12:40 – 1:40 p.m.
