Military service members and civilian personnel participated in a self defense class inside of the West Fitness Center at Joint Base Andrews, April 13. The class is part of several events taking place throughout the Naval District Washington region for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, an initiative to bring to light the severe and far-reaching problem of sexual assault in the nation's armed forces.
