What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is the sense of pride I feel knowing we are keeping America safe. I feel extremely fortunate to work alongside such highly skilled professionals while truly making a difference in people's lives.

What's your favorite color, and why?

My favorite color is Clemson's solid orange! Orange became my favorite color after attending my first Clemson football game. The color orange represents the amount of school pride exhibited by the student body and fans alike. Every time the Clemson Tigers run down the hill into a sea of orange, I feel so fortunate to be part of such an amazing school full of camaraderie and rich tradition. Go Tigers!

What's your favorite candy?

Reese's Pieces

What is your favorite movie quote?

"They can take our lives but they can never take our freedom!" said by actor Mel Gibson from the movie Braveheart.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

I would love to be able to teleport because then I could travel the world in a moment's notice without having to pay for airfare and lodging!

What would you do if you won $1 million?

I would invest and save a majority of it. I would give a portion of it to charity and then I would spend the rest of it having fun and traveling the world with my friends and family.

Who inspires you, and why?

My father, Frederick Collins is a huge inspiration to me. Growing up, my father was an orphan in Montreal, Quebec. However, he never let his situation get the best of him. In his early teenage years, he was fortunate enough to be adopted by an amazing family who accepted him as their own. In the mid 1970s, my father emigrated from Canada to the U.S. with high ambitions to be a successful entrepreneur in N. Y. City. He is one of the hardest working people I know and because of his determination and extraordinary work ethic he has been able to accomplish many of his dreams. My father believes and loves what America stands for which is why he encouraged all three of his children to serve in the U.S. military. I am who I am today because of my father which is why he has been a major inspiration in my life.

What is your best military memory?

My best military memory to date would have to be the time I spent at Ft. Huachuca, Ariz. My training class had tremendous cohesion and camaraderie and I was able to learn a lot while making some great friends.

What do you want people to know about you?

I am a big animal lover and a member of the Clemson Animal Welfare Society at my university. I also enjoy volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering dogs until I can find them permanent homes.
