Marines march outside the Old Post Chapel on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall for the funeral of retired 92-year-old Marine Col. Robert J.J. Picardi, March 29. Picardi earned a Purple Heart while serving in the Pacific during World War II. He served in the Marine Corps for 29 years and later became a math teacher.
