Just two games stand between the Fort Myer Generals and an undefeated basketball season.

In the Washington Area Military Athletic Conference (WAMAC), the Generals' basketball team is undefeated with a record of 12-0 and owns an overall record of 25-0.

On March 3, the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Army team outscored Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in a 73-48 victory at the Fort Myer Fitness Center. The Generals' top scorers were James Guy who dropped in 15 points followed by Deon Coleman with 14 points. Ernest Hassell added 12 points and Jamar Keyes, Will Lewis and Jeremy Henry each scored 8 points for the fast breaking Generals.

Defensively, the Generals had nine steals and forced 18 JBAB turnovers. Additionally, Hassell had three blocks and Lewis swatted a pair of Anacostia-Bolling shots away.

Due to a number of schedule changes, the WAMAC conference basketball season is slated to conclude over the next two weekends, and the final game will feature a rematch of the 2012 Capital Classic championship game. On March 17, the Generals will host the Quantico Bulldogs with the tip-off commencing at 1 p.m. JBM-HH's first hurdle toward the undefeated season occurs March 10 when the Generals travel to Maryland to battle the NSA Bethesda men's basketball team. The regular season finale tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
