Reminder: America Garage Open to Patients, Designated Personnel

All staff are reminded that the America Garage provides a necessary means to support medical appointments for patients and visitors of those patients. Those who park in the America garage unauthorized may be fined or towed at their own expense. Staff who have a routine, less than two-hour appointment during the work week should not park in the garage for the entire day, only for the duration of the appointment. To report suspected violations, contact Security at 301-295-1246. For more information on parking, contact NSAB's Transportation Program Manager at jeffrey.millermed.navy.mil.

PSD Moving to New Location

On Friday, July 29, Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) will be moving to the first floor of Building 17. HR or MILPAY clerks must be seen before then to ensure all necessary pay and personnel transactions can be completed. PSD plans to have all pay and personnel systems up and running by Wednesday, August 3. Passport and Visa service will not be available on Friday, July 29. SAPR Victim Advocate Training

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocate training will be held Aug. 15-19. The role of the victim advocate is to provide crisis response, support, process information and referrals for other services. The training will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Building 1, room 4334. NSAB FFSC Offers Financial Workshops

Financial counselors are now available, through the NSA Bethesda Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC), to present to all active duty and federal government organizations on base, helping them learn more about topics such as basic personal finance, credit reports and the Thrift Savings Plan. Financial presentations can range from 30 minutes to full day workshops. For more information, or to schedule a presentation, call the FFSC at 301-319-4087.
