On I-Day all parents will be allowed to drive onto to the Naval Academy yard with their son or daughter's permit to report letter in order to drop off their midshipmen candidate. However, no vehicles without Department of Defense (DOD) tags will be permitted to park on the yard. All family and friends are encouraged to park at Navy and Marine Corps Stadium and take the free shuttle buses to Alumni Hall."

From 5:45 a.m to 10 p.m. USNA will provide bus service from Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to Alumni Hall. At approximately 8 a.m. bus service will continue to the Visitor's Center and the Midshipmen Store parking lot.

Parents are reminded to make plans now to return to Annapolis August 11-14 to visit your midshipman as he or she completes Plebe Summer. In addition to being able to spend quality time with your midshipman, some of the events scheduled include an academic majors exhibit and a Regiment Formal Parade.

- 5:30 a.m. Gate One to Naval Academy opens

- 6 a.m. Class of 2015 begins reporting to Alumni Hall

- 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Drydock restaurant open in Dahlgren Hall

- 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Midshipmen Store open at Bancroft Hall

- 7-9 a.m. Naval Academy Yard Tours at Sampson Hall (Free tours provided by Visitors Center)

- 8 a.m. Colors Ceremony at the Worden Gazebo

- 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Yard Patrol Craft Dewey Field Seawall

- 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Picnic for family and friends of the class of 2015, sponsored by Naval Academy Alumni Association/Foundation, and the Class of 1965 at Worden Field*

- 1:45-2:30 p.m. Band Concert at Alumni Hall

- 2:30-3:45 p.m. Parents' Briefing at Alumni Hall

- 5:25 p.m. Band Concert at Tecumseh Court**

- 6 p.m. Oath of Office Ceremony at Tecumseh Court**

Following Oath of Office Ceremony - Personal Swearing-in Ceremonies in Smoke Hall***

- 6:30-7:15 p.m. Midshipmen meet with family and friends at Stribling Walk**

- 7:15 p.m. Evening Meal Formation (Begin Plebe Summer Routine) at Stribling Walk**

USNA Gate access for Induction Day:

Gate 8: Open 24 hours a day for both vehicles and pedestrians

Gate 1: Vehicle Traffic: 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Gate 1: Pedestrian Traffic: 6: 00 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Gate 3: Secured for Construction.

Gate 4: Pedestrian Traffic: 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
